Kornet Bringing Both Bark and Bite to the Playoffs

The Boston Celtics beat the decibels out of Loudville Saturday night with their 106-93 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers to grab a 1-0 lead in their second-round playoff series.

The Celtics were led by Jayson Tatum, who finished with 29 points and 11 rebounds. Kyrie Irving added 28 points, and Jaylen Brown chipped in with 17.

The Cavaliers were led by Darius Garland, who finished with 21 points and 11 assists. Jarrett Allen added 18 points, and Evan Mobley finished with 17.

The Celtics took control of the game in the second quarter, outscoring the Cavaliers 33-18. The Celtics held the Cavaliers to just 42.7% shooting from the field, including 27.3% from three-point range.

The Cavaliers will need to find a way to get more production from their bench if they want to win Game 2 on Monday night. The Celtics bench outscored the Cavaliers bench 34-16 in Game 1.

The Cavaliers will also need to find a way to slow down Tatum. Tatum has been averaging 29.5 points per game in the playoffs, and he has been a key factor in the Celtics' success.
