Rafael Nadal Parera, born June 3, 1986, is a Spanish tennis player who has been ranked world No. 1 in singles by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) for a record 228 consecutive weeks. Nadal has won 92 ATP singles titles, including 22 Grand Slams, 36 ATP Masters 1000 titles, and 21 ATP 500 titles. He is the only male player to have won all four Grand Slams and the Olympic gold medal in singles. Nadal is considered by many to be the greatest tennis player of all time.

Recent Accomplishments

In 2023, Nadal won his 22nd Grand Slam title at the Australian Open, defeating Daniil Medvedev in straight sets. This victory extended Nadal's record as the player with the most Grand Slam singles titles. Nadal also won the 2022 French Open, defeating Novak Djokovic in four sets. This was Nadal's 14th French Open title, a record for the most titles at a single Grand Slam event.
