Indiana Pacers Injury Report: Mathurin to Undergo Season-Ending Surgery

The Indiana Pacers have announced that forward Bennedict Mathurin will undergo season-ending surgery to repair a torn ACL.

Mathurin suffered the injury in the Pacers' game against the Chicago Bulls on Sunday, May 7th. He left the game in the second quarter and did not return.

Mathurin, 21, was averaging 19.8 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game this season. He was named the Eastern Conference Rookie of the Month for December and January.

The Pacers are currently 28-54 this season and are in last place in the Eastern Conference.
